Segments · Pulse

Find your superfans.Then reward them.

You can’t reward a fan you can’t identify. Pulse finds them in your data: ticket history, repeat attendance and email engagement.

Build a segment once. It updates on its own as new orders and signups come in, and Pulse checks it again at send time.

Top engagers get free merch

The fans who open and click every time. Send them a merch drop before anyone else hears about it.

Lapsed fans get a reason to come back

Came once or twice, then went quiet? Send them a code and get them back on the floor.

Regulars get comped at the door

Four shows this year? Put them on a list for a comp drink when they walk in.

Buyers don’t get the “tickets on sale” email

Leave out everyone who already bought for the show you’re pushing, so the people who are coming don’t get spammed.

  • Tickets: a specific event, total spent, orders, tickets bought, first and last purchase.
  • Attendance: events attended, no-shows, last time they came.
  • Email: emails received, opened and clicked, last engaged.
  • Where they came from: AFTR DARK Tickets, DICE, Eventbrite, an import or a signup form, plus your own tags and lists.

“Segmentation is what makes generosity strategic.” From the AFTR DARK panel at Winter Music Conference 2026, Miami.
